Michigan House and Senate sue governor over state of emergency extension

Republican leaders for the Michigan state House and Senate filed a lawsuit against Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer Wednesday, alleging that Whitmer's extension of the state's state of emergency was unlawful and goes against the Michigan Constitution.
